exercise therapy

Exercise therapy includes post rehabilitative training, training for chronic conditions, functional training for pain management, and much more. If you have been released from PT, are apprehensive about hitting the gym on your own, or not sure where to start, this is the place for you. Post rehabilitative care is the perfect stepping stone to take you from physical therapy to those group fitness classes. You will become stronger and more comfortable with your body’s abillity to exercise without injury.

Exercise therapy is also used to manage chronic conditions and pain. Understanding pain, and understanding how different bodies and minds respond to pain, is an important part of the exercise therapy process. Each person has their own story and their own needs. It is important to be flexible and creative with each individual client as there are often daily changes in one's bodily response to pain and/ or disease. I work with each individual client to decide the best course of action for their desired result with a strong focus on overall wellness, healing, and injury prevention.

corrective training

Learn to move with proper posture and alignment. Corrective exercise training focuses on realigning the body and teaching the body how to maintain correct posture and positioning. When one thing is out of place, the entire machine malfunctions. With corrective training, we work on fixing the wrong biomechanical patterns that develop over time leading to pain and injury. Your body will learn to move as it is meant to, which will significantly increase mobility, function, and strength. Corrective Exercise training is perfect for people who suffer from hip imbalance, back pain, sciatic nerve pain, core weekness, or any skeletal misalignment.
